Datuk Seri J.J. Raj Jr : Police Chief and OCPD during the Communist Insurgency (Malayan Emergency Period)

 Datuk Seri J.J. Raj Jr 
Former police chief of Selangor, Negri Sembilan and Kuala Lumpur 
and the OCPD of Pagoh during the Bukit Kepong incident in 1951
(1923-present) 

Born in Hulu Chemor, Perak, in 1923. Was the police chief of Selangor, Negri Sembilan and Kuala Lumpur and the OCPD of Pagoh during the Bukit Kepong incident in 1951. Retired as Director of Management at the national police HQ. 
"Currently, Dato’ Seri sits on the Federal Pardons Board as adviser to His Majesty the King. He is the only Malaysian who has the rare honour of serving continuously for over 25 years under five Kings, and three Prime Ministers, Tun Hussein Onn, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and Dato’ Seri Hj. Abdullah Hj. Badawi."

  1. Dato Seri J.J Raj Jr is now Tan Sri Dato Seri J.J Raj Jr. He was awarded Panglima Setia Mahkota in Sept 2015 which carries title 'Tan Sri'
